J. Matthew Martin is a member of the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Practice Groups in the Chattanooga, Tennessee office of Husch & Eppenberger, LLC.
Matthew represents business organizations and management in all aspects of corporate law. His work experience includes securities regulatory representation in assisting public companies and their directors, officers and principal shareholders with SEC periodic reporting requirements, compliance with NYSE and NASDAQ listing requirements, compliance with insider trading rules and resales of restricted stock. He also provides transactional representation in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and in public and private equity financing transactions. In addition, Matthew counsels clients on a variety of general corporate matters, including preparation and negotiation of contracts, strategic business planning and corporate governance matters. He represents a range of clients including start-up companies, middle market companies, publicly traded companies, senior executives and private equity investors.
