Mr. Kavanagh is an Associate in the Denver office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where he is a member of the ERISA & Employee Benefits Group. He focuses on ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation. Mr. Kavanagh counsels clients on a wide range of employee benefits topics, including the broad application of ERISA provisions. He advises on the interpretation of statutory provisions, equity compensation arrangements and the benefits and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions. He has worked on employee benefits-related litigation, and he has helped design employee benefit structures. Mr. Kavanagh has also assisted clients with HIPAA medical record privacy and security compliance. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Kavanagh served for several years as a benefits consultant in the insurance and mutual fund industries. |
