Practice Emphasis Real Estate; Business Transactions Professional Experience Matthew Watson is a shareholder in Lionel Sawyer & Collins' Business Law Department. His practice concentrates on real estate development and general transactional law. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the development of commercial and residential projects, such as regional shopping centers, office buildings, apartment complexes, condominiums, single-family subdivisions and master-planned communities. That experience includes the acquisition and sale of improved and unimproved real property, syndicated and other financing, construction, leasing, pad sales and resolving the issues that arise during the development process. Among his clients are several of the largest residential and commercial developers in Nevada, smaller developers and business operators, and regional and national lenders. He helps these clients to arrive at practical solutions to their legal issues. Mr. Watson was named to Nevada Super Lawyers for Real Estate Law. He has an AV rating in the Martindale-Hubbell directory.
