Matt is a partner in Pierce Atwood’s Environmental Practice Group, which he joined in 1989. Matt handles a broad range of environmental matters before state and federal administrative agencies, as well as before state and federal courts. Administrative Experience. Matt’s administrative experience includes regular representation of clients in hydropower licensing and compliance matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Matt also represents clients in hydropower and land use matters before the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. Other agencies before which Matt regularly appears include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission, the Maine Fund Insurance Review Board, the Maine Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices, and numerous Maine municipal planning boards and zoning boards of appeals. |
