Matt is known for assisting start-up businesses determine the appropriate structure as well as assisting them to properly capitalize their new enterprise. As both a CPA and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with over 21 years experience, Matt’s second focus is unique. He advises business owners and works with attorneys in succession planning, which often includes selling the business where he can apply his expertise in business valuations and taxation to obtain the greatest value possible.

Although he services clients in several industries, his areas of greatest concentration are the hospitality and real estate industries. Formerly with the Big Five accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick and the international firm of BDO Seidman, Matt is a member at SWLCO.
