Mr. Finnigan is an Associate in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Denver office and a member of the firm's Employment Group. He represents corporate clients in all aspects of employment law. He has represented clients in responding to charges of discrimination and requests for information before federal and state agencies, as well as defending claims in federal and state courts for wrongful termination, violations of the Americans With Disabilities Act, Title VII (discrimination and retaliation), breach of contract, fraud, defamation, and conspiracy. He also counsels clients regarding personnel policies, employment contracts, and wage and overtime issues. Recently, Mr. Finnigan was a member of the trial team that successfully defended, in a three-week jury trial, an academic institution sued for breach of contract by a former tenured professor. Mr. Finnigan was previously an associate at Richards, Watson and Gershon in Los Angeles, and he is licensed to practice law in the State of California. During law school, Mr. Finnigan was a staff member and Senior Executive Editor for the USC Interdisciplinary Law Journal. |
