Mr. Rubins is a General Partner with M/C Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused exclusively on the communications, media, and related information technology sectors. Since Rubins joined the firm in 1997, he has sourced or worked on a variety of transactions in the broadband wireless, ISP, CLEC, enterprise infrastructure, telecom software and IT services industries. He has served on the Boards of ten portfolio companies. In addition to SpeechCycle, Rubins currently serves on the Board of Directors of HyPerformix, SecureMedia, Vertical Communications and Viola Networks. Prior to joining M/C, he was an Assistant Vice President in the telecommunications and data networking areas at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Technology Group. Previously he was an Associate in the media and telecommunications groups at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
