Matt is an industry veteran in the areas of enterprise systems management, security and wireless data. Matt began his career working for leading government contractors such as Contel Federal Systems and SAIC, learning first-hand the complexity of creating, deploying and maintaining large scale, distributed information systems. Matt spent several years consulting before launching his career at IBM, where he rose to Vice President of Systems Engineering for Tivoli Systems, IBM's $1.5 billion systems management company. Matt then joined Riverbed Technologies and was instrumental to the growth and subsequent acquisition by Aether Systems, where he was the VP of Applied technology working directly for the Chief Technology Officer. Next Matt joined e-Security, a leader in security event management. Matt was key in the growth of e-Security and its acquisition by Novell, Inc. Matt holds a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. |
