Matt Berry enters his sixth year with Falcons player personnel department and his third season scouting the south central part of the country (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and New Mexico). Prior to his move south, Berry served as the northeast scout for the 2005 draft, and in various in-house functions for the 2003 and 2004 drafts.
Prior to joining the Falcons, he served as a summer intern for the Baltimore Ravens in 2002.
A native of Nashville, TN, he holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from Davidson College (N.C.), where he played both baseball and football. Berry was a four-year starter on a Wildcat football team that had the most successful run in school history, including a 17-game winning streak.
He currently resides in Austin, TX. |
