Mr. Phillips joined Partners after compiling over 10 years of legal and corporate finance advisory experience. He has successfully represented large, public clients, as well as smaller, privately-owned middle market clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and capital markets transactions. Prior to joining Dresner Partners, Mr. Phillips was responsible for managing Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin's (HLHZ) Midwest and Northeast financial sponsor relationships, in addition to executing merger and acquisition and valuation engagements for industrial, transportation and business service clients. Previous to HLHZ, Mr. Phillips was with KPMG Corporate Finance LLC, where he provided mergers and acquisitions and capital markets assistance to a range of industrial and consumer companies, including BP Amoco, Market Day Corporation, Wells Dairy, DEC International and Icelandic USA. Prior to KPMG, Mr. Phillips was an associate at the Chicago-based law firm of Bell, Boyd & Lloyd, where he served in both the firm's corporate and trade regulation practice groups. While at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd, Mr. Phillips represented a number of Fortune 500 companies in merger and acquisition and financing transactions, including Baxter International, Caremark, Viacom, Blockbuster and Boston Chicken. |
