Dr. Vaziri has over 10 years of senior industry experience with a focus on optical system design and optical networking. Before joining TXP he was vice president of photonics systems at Menara Networks working on high performance subsystems for next generation optical networks. Dr. Vaziri began his career in 1995 as a member of the scientific staff for optical system design at Nortel Networks and later in his career re-joined the firm as Director of Lightwave System Design. Dr. Vaziri was also a distinguished member of the technical staff and the manager of the optical networks group at Siemens ICN. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. |
