Masoud Motamedi has served as President and Chief Operating Officer since co-founding TechnoCom in 1995. He manages the company's development, operations, finance and administrative organizations.

Mr. Motamedi is one of the pioneers in wireless location systems with over 20 years of management experience in the industry. Mr. Motamedi’s involvement with location technologies started at Geostar Corporation, a mobile messaging and location services provider, where his team designed and developed the first commercial RDSS (Radio Determination Satellite Service) system. Mr. Motamedi continued his pioneering work on L-Band Satellite systems at the Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL), including proving the feasibility of direct audio broadcast to mobile users in time for the launch of XM and Sirius. As the Director of Systems Engineering at AirTouch Teletrac, Mr. Motamedi led the commercial deployment of the Teletrac TDOA location infrastructure across in domestic and international markets. Prior to co-founding TechnoCom, Mr. Motamedi served as Director of Network Deployment for LCC International Inc. where he was responsible for the deployment of Nextel's system in the Los Angeles market.

Mr. Motamedi obtained his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University. He holds several patents.
