Masahiro Matono joined Dainichiseika Chemical Corporation in 1968 and worked there three years before entering ORIX in 1971. After appointments as General Manager of the Investment Products Development Department (1991) and the Tokyo Sales Department No. 6 (1993), Matono became a Director and Deputy Head of the Tokyo Sales Headquarters in 1995. He was made a Corporate Executive Officer in 1998, before being appointed Corporate Senior Vice President in June 2000. From November 2002 until August 2006, Matono was the Head of the OQL Headquarters and the executive officer responsible for the Asset Administration Department from February 2005 until August 2006. Matono was also appointed the executive officer responsible for the Regional Business Department in November 2005. In January 2006, Matono was promoted to the position of Corporate Executive Vice President and also became the President of ORIX Callcenter Corporation.
Matono was born in 1945 and graduated from Fukuoka University's School of Commerce in 1968. |
