Masahiko Uotani is chairman of Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Ltd. (CCJC), responsible for managing key bottler, customer and community relationships. Prior to this role, Mr. Uotani was president, CCJC, since 2001.
Mr. Uotani joined CCJC in May 1994 as director and senior vice president, Marketing -- National Brands. In January 1996, he was named director and senior vice president, Operations and Marketing. In April 1999, he became executive vice president, Business Development, and in April 2000, was promoted to executive vice president, Marketing, and deputy president, Japan Division.
Before joining CCJC, Mr. Uotani held a number of key positions in marketing and management at Kraft Japan, Citibank and Lion Corporation.
Mr. Uotani received a Bachelor of Arts from Doshisha University in Kyoto and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University in New York. |
