Maryanne Starr Garber is counsel in the firm's Environmental Practice Group. Maryanne concentrates her practice in zoning and land use and in environmental litigation.
Zoning and Land Use. Maryanne represents developers, landowners, telecommunications providers and other applicants in matters related to land development before local and municipal boards and commissions, as well as in land use appeals to state and federal courts.
Environmental Litigation. Maryanne litigates environmental matters under a variety of environmental statutes, including CERCLA, HSCA, SWMA, CSL and other environmental programs, in both state and federal court, as well as before the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board.
Bar Memberships. Maryanne is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
In General. Maryanne graduated from Hobart & William Smith Colleges in 1991, with a bachelor's degree in English. In 1998, she graduated summa cum laude and first in her class from Widener University School of Law, Delaware Campus, where she was the editor-in-chief of The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. Maryanne is a member of the firm's Associates Committee. |
