Maryann Hirsch comes to Knowledge Consulting Group with over twenty (20) years experience in IT business development and consulting within the government market. Maryann provides leadership for continued growth of KCG. She is responsible for day to day operations and financial controls of the company. This includes strategic planning, business development, contracts management, human resources, and recruiting. Her management experience encompasses marketing, capture management, service delivery, finance and administration.
Prior to joining KCG, Maryann was Senior Vice President, Consulting at Federal Sources, Inc, the leading market research firm focused on the Public IT market. Maryann was responsible for all revenue growth, profitability and operational aspects of the consulting practice. Maryann supported customers in the areas of procurement marketing strategies, acquisition support, competitive analysis, organizational analysis, and positioning of new solution offerings within the Public sector market.
Prior to joining Federal Sources, Maryann was Senior Manager, Business Acquisition at Sysorex Information Systems, Inc. In this capacity, Maryann was responsible for new federal marketing efforts, including identifying and qualifying opportunities, formulating bid strategies, key vendor selection and negotiations, and developing teaming and pricing strategies. Maryann captured contract awards totaling in excess of $600M. Ms. Hirsch was part of a new management team at Sysorex brought on board to build the business. Within three years, Maryann's team increased revenue from $22M to $100M.
Maryann is a graduate of Mary Washington University with a BS in Business Administration. Ms. Hirsch serves on the boards of George Mason University's School of Information Technology and Engineering and Northern Virginia Family Services.
