Mary joined Boyden as Managing Director of the Brussels office in January 1990.
She holds a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Louvain (Belgium) and worked as an assistant to the Dean. From there, she attended Yale University (USA) where she prepared a PhD.
After graduation, Mary was appointed Human Resources Officer and Manager with Pfizer Inc. USA, before moving on to a Clinical Researcher Position with Rhône Poulenc Europe.
In 1974, she was appointed Vice President of Human Resources and partner of CEGOS, the European Consulting Group, where she started new businesses that dealt with the introduction of technology in the Third World, with EEC and World Bank assignments. She also started executive search assignments and large scale human resources projects, such as the implementation of new plants, distribution networks and European commercial task forces. She works across a wide range of industry and commerce: Primary industry, fine chemicals, life Sciences, FMCG and the telecom industry.
She completed the advanced Management Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA. She is a member of Solvay Business School Advisory Board.
