Mary started her career as a Senior Biologist with the U.S. Corps of Engineers. During her 5 years in that role she also attended law school and graduated in 1984. Upon graduation Mary joined the Dakota County Attorneys’ Offices as Assistant County Attorney where she spent 3 very busy years in the Civil Division before being recruited by Lindquist & Vennum in their Corporate Department. She was promoted to Partner in 1992 and continued to broaden her legal experience in that role until 1995 when she was recruited to Genmar Holdings Inc as Vice President Environmental and Regulatory Affairs and Assistant General Counsel. Shortly after joining Genmar Mary was promoted to Senior Vice President General Counsel and Secretary and stayed in that role until 2002. Most recently Mary was General Counsel for the Control Products Division of Honeywell. |
