Experience:
Mary Fontaine represents issuers, commercial banks, investment banks, and insurance and reinsurance companies in securitizations of financial assets in the term and commercial paper markets. She advises on a variety of financial matters, such as synthetic risk transfer products, including credit derivatives; CDO transactions; establishment of single-seller and multi-seller asset securitization conduits, including hybrid and arbitrage conduits; domestic and cross-border and medium-term note issuances in the public and private markets; and securitization workouts.
The foreign and domestic assets financed in these transactions include insurance policies, premium finance loans, auto loans and leases, equipment loans and leases, credit cards, timeshare loans, franchise loans, corporate and asset-backed bonds, other commercial and consumer debt, e-commerce receivables, trade receivables, future cash flows, and operating assets.
Mary is known for being "tough, practical and exceptionally organized" and a "resilient negotiator" (Chambers USA).
