Mary Ann Sullivan is an associate in the firm’s Banking department. She has been practicing law since 1982. Prior to joining Chapman and Cutler LLP in 2007, she served as General Counsel for the Cook County Assessor’s Office, beginning in 1999. She earned the designation of Certified Illinois Assessing Officer and advised governmental, not-for-profit and religious organizations on property tax exemption issues. She worked with the City of Chicago on property tax issues related to its New Homes for Chicago program and to the sale-leaseback of City-owned property. She also worked as a Master Grader in the areas of corporations, agency and civil procedure for the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar from 1982 to 2004. |
