Mary Ann was born in Jackson, but grew up in Summit, Mississippi, where she graduated from Gibson High School. She then attended the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Mary Ann worked nine years in the oil and gas industry and eight years with several banking and financial institutions. After earning her CPA designation, Mary Ann joined GranthamPoole and holds shareholder status. Her areas of responsibility with the firm are focused on tax and management advisory services, primarily in the medical area. Mary Ann participates in professional organizations, such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Central Chapter of the Mississippi Society of CPAs. She and husband, John Sonny Mosal, have one daughter, Judith. They are members of Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church in Madison. In her leisure time, Mary Ann enjoys cooking for friends and family, and playing with her new grandson, Gus. Mary Ann and Sonny are also avid fishermen. |
