Marvin Selter is president of CMS Inc., a national management consulting firm. At CMS, he has served as an advisor to senior management of a broad spectrum of professional, manufacturing, distribution and non-profit organizations on a wide variety of matters such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate infrastructure, financial planning and controls. He is widely regarded as an expert in finance and tax issues and has conducted seminars worldwide on these topics. Thirty years ago, he pioneered the concept of employee leasing and established the first employee leasing company. Since then he has been a sought-after lecturer on the myriad benefits of employee leasing. He attended Rutgers University, majoring in accounting and business administration. Selter currently serves on several boards, including the UCLA Medical Center, San Fernando Economic Alliance, Valley Economic Development Center and the California State University-Northridge Economic Development Center. He is also on several commissions, including the California Small Business Board, California Budget Advisory Task Force, City of Los Angeles Business Tax Advisory Committee and the City of Los Angeles/Office of Finance Board of Review. |
