Marvin Jackson, 33 is CyberGenies' Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jackson has over ten years of experience in the Information Technology industry. He has a track record of success with a keen eye for stretching every dollar while delivering high quality, practical solutions. Mr. Jackson's experience working with both large and small companies in a variety of roles brings a unique perspective to every situation. Mr. Jackson holds Bachelors Degrees in both Management Information Systems and Finance, along with a Minor in Computer Science from Florida State University. In addition, Mr. Jackson is a Certified Project Manager, earning accreditation from the Project Management Institute. Over the last ten years, Mr. Jackson has been at the Executive Level of two Tampa Bay area software companies and the management level of a Big Four Consulting firm. In each position, Mr. Jackson has been responsible for multi-million dollar budgets, running cost/benefit analysis, and overseeing large projects to successful completion. Mr. Jackson's expertise in business startups, financial management, project management, operations, technology, and contracts has allowed him to bring value to organizations in a variety of ways. Some of his successes include: As Vice President of Research & Development for a Tampa Bay based startup, building and running a profitable multi-million dollar software development department from scratch. Mr. Jackson had complete profit/loss responsibility. Leading the implementation of a corporate-wide CRM system for a Sarasota based Software Company, from analysis to implementation. Managing budgets for large projects in excess of five-million dollars in a given fiscal year. Starting GoldMind Learning, Inc. a technology and project management consulting firm in 2002. This included being responsible for all aspects of running a company and creating viable software products. Today, GoldMind Learning, Inc. has sold off its major software products and concentrates on general management consulting to small businesses. |
