Marvin received his B.S. in Accounting from Ohio State University before receiving his L.L.B. from the University of Michigan School of Law.
Since then, he has enjoyed a career in the field of law that has spanned over 40 years.
Throughout his career, Marvin has represented several financial institutions, and brings with him a vast knowledge in the legal aspect of the banking industry. He has also represented hundreds of small businesses, and is aware of the challenges facing those companies.
He currently serves as Board member and Secretary for the Lifeworks Organization, the largest social service agency in Travis County. Marvin also served as Chairman of the New Building Committee for Congregation Agudas Achim’s new synagogue, and now serves as President of the Don E. & Charlotte Williams Charitable Foundation.
Marvin is a 15 year resident of Austin, and believes that his contacts in the community, in addition to his law background, will be an asset to the new Bank.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, studying history, and playing duplicate bridge, an advanced version of the popular card game. |
