Marvin Isles joined BÖWE BELL + HOWELL as Chief Executive Officer in December, 2004. Isles has served as a Board Member since the company's merger with BÖWE SYSTEC AG of Augsburg, Germany, in January, 2003.
Before joining BÖWE BELL + HOWELL, Isles served as Chairman and CEO of Giddings and Lewis from 1996 - 2000, at that time the largest machine tool manufacturer in North America. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of GenCorp, a $2 billion diversified company with businesses in aerospace, automotive and plastic industries.
Isles is a 1969 industrial engineer graduate of the General Motors Institute (GMI) and received a masters in business administration degree from Michigan Tech University (MTU) in 1970. He received honors from GMI as a distinguished alumnus and from MTU for outstanding achievement.
