Marty Thomas was appointed to the newly created role of senior vice president of Operations and Engineering Services, in February 2007. He is responsible for the company's Global Supply Chain, industrialization and Engineering Services. Thomas joined the company in November 2005 as vice president of Operations and Engineering Services.
Prior to joining Rockwell Automation, Thomas served as President of GE’s Trailer Fleet Services & Modular Space businesses, serving more than 12,000 customers from 180 branch locations across Canada, Mexico and the United States. The business owned more than $3 billion in over-the-road trailers and modular buildings, which generated annual sales revenue in excess of $1 billion. Thomas joined GE in 1981 and held managerial assignments in Materials, Quality and Operations.
Thomas earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University and a master's degree in business administration from Xavier University. |
