Martin has over 10 years of experience in mortgage banking, mortgage brokerage, and direct mortgage lending and is a founding member of Johnson Capital’s Washington D.C. Metro Office. In addition to co-managing the Freddie Mac multi-family lending platform at Johnson Capital, he originates and places real estate capital for commercial and multi-family properties throughout the United States. Before joining Johnson Capital, Martin was a vice president of loan production at Reilly Mortgage Group, where he originated multi-family and commercial mortgages. He was also a key commercial and multi-family loan producer for the Residential Funding Corporation’s ("RFC") Conduit. Prior to joining RFC, Martin was a multi-family underwriter in the Southeastern United States for Freddie Mac, where he originated and underwrote multi-family loans, developed correspondent relationships and structured and negotiated loan terms. Marty holds a B.S. in finance and a Masters degree in finance from American University’s Kogod School of Business. His current memberships include the Mortgage Bankers Association, National Multi Housing Council, and the Northern Virginia Apartment Association. |
