Martin Weinthrop is the sales and marketing director for the EMEA region. He is tasked with leading all sales, account management and marketing activity to enhance the profile, positioning and profitability of Crawford, leveraging existing client relationships and driving new business opportunities across the EMEA region.
Martin has enjoyed an extensive 27 year international career in strategy, sales & marketing within the financial services arena, most recently as Marketing & Business Development Director at SunGard. Previously, Martin had served as Marketing Director for Financial Services at another international systems vendor, and Managing Consultant for Financial Services at a European sales & marketing consultancy.
Prior to that, he had spent more than 17 years with the NatWest Group in a variety of senior international banking roles, most recently as Senior Executive responsible for UK Strategy. He has held a number of strategic marketing and sales positions in corporate banking/structured finance, retail financial services and private banking, and has over 5 years of senior management experience on Wall Street and in Boston, USA. In addition, he has considerable corporate planning and project management experience throughout Western Europe, in both banking and insurance markets. |
