Martin Vasey is co-founder and CEO of Jova Solutions. Martin is responsible for the firm’s manufacturing automation consulting business, and the development of the EMWorks product and hardware product development. Martin’s background is in networked and web applications, imaging systems, and test and measurement instrumentation and devices. Martin specializes in applications that analyze and report complex and underutilized laboratory and manufacturing data for decision makers. Prior to co-founding Jova Solutions, Martin ran a successful consulting business working with a variety of San Francisco Bay Area manufacturers. His 15 years of experience in developing technologies spans medical engineering, electronic manufacturing, biotechnology, telecommunications, and networking. Martin led the development of the first Virtual Factory Web System for 2Wire Inc., and solved a difficult data interaction challenge between Cisco's EDI system and the Flextronics BAAN ERP. Martin has demonstrated visionary capability in online application development building the music industry's first on line pay-per-track distribution channel, and an image server/e-commerce solution for the photography industry. Martin holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, in Physics and in Mathematics, from the University of Oregon. |
