Martin Sprock is founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Atlanta-based Raving Brands. Sprock launched the portfolio in 1997 with the introduction of Planet Smoothie, followed by Moe’s Southwest Grill in 2000. Since then, Raving Brands has grown into one of the nation's premier fast-casual restaurant companies with its unique and compelling brands. Raving Brands' portfolio concepts include six fast-casual restaurants: Moe’s Southwest Grill, a 2005 Inc. magazine Top 25 Company and a Nation’s Restaurant News 2004 Hot Concepts! Award Winner; Mama Fu’s Asian House, a 2004 Nation’s Restaurant News Fast 50 brand; Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads, voted Best Restaurant in 2005 by INsite magazine; Boneheads Grilled Fish and Piri Piri Chicken; Flying Biscuit Café and Shane’s Rib Shack. The company also includes two beverage concepts, PJ's Coffee of New Orleans and Planet Smoothie Café; and Monkey Joe's, an interactive family entertainment facility.
