Martin Gramatica went to training camp with New England but was released on Aug. 23. He signed with Indianapolis on Sept. 22 as an injury replacement for Adam Vinatieri and saw action in three games hitting his only field goal attempt, a 20-yarder at the N.Y. Jets (10/1) and all nine PATs. Gramatica handled kicking duties against Jacksonville (9/24) and at the N.Y. Jets (10/1) before being released on Oct. 4. He re-signed with the Colts on Oct. 7 and kicked against Tennessee (10/8) before being released again on Oct. 10.
Gramatica is in his seventh NFL season and has hit 138 of 180 career field goal attempts (.767) and 190 of 192 career extra points. He kicked for Tampa Bay from 1999-2004 and also spent time with the Colts in 2004. He was out of football in 2005. |
