Mr. Collins has over 17 years of experience in industrial energy operations as well as energy related acquisition and development. Most recently Mr. Collins was Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for Primary Energy where he provided technical, operational, commercial, and strategic support to Primary Energy’s M&A and financing activities. Mr. Collins joined Private Power, the predecessor of Primary Energy in January 2001, and subsequently worked on various acquisition and development opportunities and their associated financings including the purchase of Primary Energy from NiSource and the CHP portfolio from Reservoir Capital and the sale of five of the assets into the Canadian public market. Mr. Collins joined LTV Steel Corporation in 1990, where he served in various positions in operations management and technical support in utility and chemical plant operations. Mr. Collins earned his Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical, from Marquette University and a M.B.A. from the JL Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. |
