Dr. Boyer is a practicing Hand Surgeon at the Orthopedic Surgery Center and holds the position of Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He obtained his Medical Degree in 1988 and completed his Residency in 1995 at the University of Toronto, Canada. He went on to Fellowships at both the Sunnybrook Health Science Center at the University of Toronto and the Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Boyer’s clinical specialties include: Orthopedics; hand surgery; wrist surgery and microsurgery; Traumatic, degenerative and neuromuscular conditions of the hand and upper extremity in adults and children; Carpal tunnel syndrome; osteoarthritis; rheumatoid arthritis; fractures of the hand and wrist; arthritis of the base of the thumb and disorders of the ulnar side of the wrist and distal radioulnar joint; reconstructive microsurgery; replantation surgery; and free vascularized fibural grafts for avascular necrosis of the hip, post-traumatic of the hip, and post-tumor reconstruction. |
