Mr. Lanigan has served as President & CEO of Mezz Cap since its founding in October of 2000 and Mezz Cap Canada since its inception in October of 2005. Mezz Cap is a wholesale mezzanine lender which provides supplemental leverage in conjunction with loans made by its designated Strategic Lending Partners throughout the United States and Canada. Currently, Mezz Cap’s US Strategic Lending Partners include: Bank of America, Column Financial (Credit Suisse), JPMorgan, KeyBank, Wachovia Securities, Wells Fargo, CIBC World Markets, Goldman Sachs Commercial Mortgage Capital, L.P., Deutsche Bank Mortgage Capital, L.L.C., GE Real Estate, Merrill Lynch Mortgage Lending, Inc., Nomura Credit & Capital, Inc., PNC Real Estate Finance, LaSalle Bank National Association, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley. In Canada, our Strategic Lending Partners are Column Financial Canada, GE Real Estate Canada, Merrill Lynch Canada, RBC and First National. Prior to launching Mezz Cap, Mr. Lanigan was a founding member and Managing Director of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company overseeing its Conduit and Interim Loan Programs from 1997 to 2000. Prior to joining Prudential, Mr. Lanigan was a Senior Vice President of Securitization and Structured Finance at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, where he was responsible for the development and management of the firm’s Conduit Lending Program. Prior to GMAC, Mr. Lanigan was at Freddie Mac in their Multifamily Structured Transactions Group. Mr. Lanigan currently serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Commercial Mortgage Securitization Association (CMSA), is on the Advisory Board of CMBS World and is a member of the Executive Committee of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC). He has been a featured speaker/lecturer for the CMSA, ICSC, ULI, MBA, Crittenden, IMN/Fabozzi and NAIOP. Mr. Lanigan is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA") designation. |
