Marshall G. McClure is vice president tax in DuPont Finance. He joined Conoco in 1971 in Ponca City, Okla., in the federal income tax group.
At the time of the Conoco acquisition in 1981, Mr. McClure was located in Houston, Texas, working in Conoco's downstream tax operations. He moved to London, England, in 1986 as Conoco's manager of U.S. & European Tax Affairs. In 1989, he assumed the position of vice president - tax of Consolidation Coal Company in Pittsburgh, Pa., and in 1994, transferred to Wilmington, Del., as manager federal and international tax operations for DuPont. His latest position included responsibility for the DuPont global income tax planning, the company's international taxes and U.S. income and international tax audits.
Mr. McClure is currently a member of the Tax Executives Institute, Financial Executives Institute, the Business Roundtable, Manufacturers Alliance and American Chemistry Council.
Born in 1946 in Los Angeles, Calif., he served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1964 to 68. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1971 with a B.S. degree in accounting. |
