Marsha received her B.S. from Indiana University before receiving her J.D. from South Texas College of Law and her LL.M. from San Diego State University. She currently serves as Dean of the Graduate School of Management at St. Edward’s University which was named a top tier institution by U.S. News and World Report. She coordinates and establishes new programs for graduate students and works to create seminars for students alumni faculty and images/staff.
Her latest project has been the development of dual degree and faculty exchange programs with universities in Germany Japan and Mexico. Marsha is involved with several women’s organizations including the Association of Women in Technology in Austin which provides an opportunity to contribute to the skill enhancement of women in technology and the Austin Women’s Business Forum an organization that addresses issues facing businesswomen in the community.
She also supports the International Center of Austin in an attempt to bring a global influence to all aspects of the community including business education and the arts. Marsha was named “YWCA Woman of the Year in Education” in 2002 and was a “Profile in Power” nominee in the Austin Business Journal in 2003.
Marsha believes that Treaty Oak Bank will create an opportunity for the community to invest locally which is essential for the city’s continued growth and sustainability. |
