Marnie DeWall is a member of Lindquist & Vennum’s Litigation and Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation & Employment Law practice groups. She represents clients in all areas of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, unemployment compensation and noncompete cases. She has also responded to charges brought against employers by the Minnesota Deparment of Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In addition, Marnie counsels clients on issues involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as matters involving discrimination and harassment. She also assists clients with immigration visas, in particular H visas.Prior to joining the firm, Marnie clerked for Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights. She also was a volunteer legal assistant for the South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project in Harlingen, Texas, and a summer clerk for Baird Holm in Omaha, Nebraska.Marnie participated in our summer associates program in 2001. |
