Marlene Elser is an Intellectual Property Specialist in Ater Wynne's Intellectual Property Group. She prosecutes domestic and international trademarks, administers clients’ domestic and international trademark portfolios, drafts cease and desist letters, manages trademark and patent dockets, prepares and files documents before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in Federal Court, as well as assists in filing copyright applications with the U.S. Copyright Office. She also is experienced in prosecuting U.S. patent applications and PCT patent applications.
Prior to joining Ater Wynne in 1992, Marlene worked as a litigation paralegal for several business firms in the Portland and Salem areas.
