Marla Tomastik joined SMobile in 2003, after 15 years in telecommunications software development and project management with AT&T, and Lucent. Early in her career, she developed simulations of digital switching systems, used in engineering training for telecommunications companies worldwide. She later moved into management of large-scale Lucent software deployments for various Lucent customers, including Sprint and ICG.
A veteran SMobile team member, Marla has performed several key roles for the company over time. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from The Ohio State University, where she also completed much coursework in both the undergraduate and graduate CIS curricula. A PMI-certified project manager, Marla received her Master's in Project Management, with a specialty in the management of software development projects, from The George Washington University. Marla resides with her daughter, Jessica, in Upper Arlington, Ohio. |
