Dr. Perry is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned a Nurse Practitioner Certificate, a master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing, and a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. Perry was on the University of Arizona's psychiatric nursing faculty for five years and has worked in outpatient psychiatry for eight years. As a neuropsychologist, she provided services to individuals with traumatic brain injury. Dr. Perry is a Board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Professional activities have included serving as vice president of the Brain Injury Association, as a member of the Governor's Advisory Council on Spinal Cord and Head Injury, and as a board member of the Arizona Nurses' Association. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with persons who have a combination of addictions, trauma, and behavioral health issues.
