Markus Muessig is the General Manager of FIT China and is based in Shanghai. His responsibilities include expanding the consulting and hosting services in his region, as well as overseeing human resources, sales and finance.
He has been with Freudenberg IT since June 2003. Before being sent to China, he was responsible for the strategic planning for and organization of the new Asian site.
Before Mr. Muessig came to Freudenberg IT, he was employed as Global Account Consultant at SAP China in Beijing. In previous consulting roles, he contributed to the e-commerce division of Pixelpark AG, and was a team member in project controlling and business reengineering at the IBM subsidiary, SerCon GmbH. During his studies Mr. Muessig worked at Roland Berger & Partner in Stuttgart, Germany. His first experiences of Asia were made at OTTO International Ltd, Hong Kong.
Mr. Muessig studied technical business administration in Stuttgart, Germany, and the Chinese language in Beijing, China. He took part in the INSEAD Asian International Executive Program. Markus Muessig was born in 1973.
