He believes each person has a unique contribution to make and from a value perspective does not believe in the separation of personal and business values. This integrated approach has kept Mark attuned to issues of social consciousness and corporate responsibility. Mark was awarded TAPPI's Shibley Award for his work in composting primary and secondary sludge generated from Pacific Northwest Pulp and Paper facilities. His 30 year career has brought management innovation to a broad range of related strategic and tactical issues which include: Resource Allocation and Optimization; Capital Preservation; Organizational Development; Environmental Stewardship and Corporate Responsibility; Entrepreneurship; Community/Social Advocacy! Most recently Mark is leading a nation wide initiative to bring an over all reduction in the use of work place chemicals through Compliance Side Total Chemical Management or CSTCM. CSTCM Annual Return on Investment ranges from 30-70%. CSTCM relies on automating and optimizing the use of existing Compliance Budgets to review and streamline chemical usage.
