As Chief Operating Officer, Mark is responsible for the acquisition, development and operations of all Westgate Resorts properties and corporate offices. His responsibilities span a wide range of activities, including real estate development, project acquisitions, construction, resort operations, asset management, procurement services, and corporate operations. Mark is also responsible for the development and management of all CFI non-timeshare projects, including commercial office space, apartment complexes, and land development.
Background
Mark has had a remarkable and diverse career that includes working in the space launch industry where he helped develop the launch facilities for the Atlas commercial satellite program and was the propulsion engineer for 12 commercial space launches. Mark also served twenty years in the United States Air Force, where he specialized in program management and business reengineering. Prior to joining Westgate, Mark was with Computer Sciences Raytheon, where he developed project management programs for the development of the infrastructure for the Kennedy Space Center.

Mark is on the Board of Directors for both the Westgate Resorts Foundation and Florida Special Olympics. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando and the American Resort Development Association.
