Mark Waind is the Administrative Director of Information Services for Altru Health System. He has responsibility for Information Services, Chart Management, Transcription Services, Patient Scheduling/Reception and Medical Records. Prior to this position, Mark was the Manager of Altru’s Information Services Customer Support team from 1997 through 2006.
Mr. Waind is a 1983 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science. Prior to joining Altru, he was the Administrative Director of Business Services for the Grand Forks Clinic from 1987 to 1997.
He has been active in a number of professional and community associations including Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, Helpdesk Institute, Medical Group Management Association, and Grand Forks Hockey Association. Mark attends Faith Evangelical Free Church where he volunteers teaching Sunday school. He is a native of Langdon, North Dakota is married and has three sons. |
