His responsibilities cover all financial operations, including financial reporting, management information systems, treasury functions, billing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, credit and collections, and other related business services. In addition, he manages Shambaugh's Advanced Systems/Computer Consultants division.

Mark has 23 years of management experience, including 18 years with Shambaugh & Son, L.P. Before joining Shambaugh, he held positions as a retail store manager and as vice president of a major engineering and consulting company.
In addition to an associate degree in applied sciences with a specialty in management, Mark holds a bachelor's in business administration with a major in accounting and information systems from the University of Texas and another bachelor's in business with a major in marketing from Indiana University. He has also attended numerous financial and construction-related seminars.
A certified public accountant in Texas and Indiana, Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He currently serves on the boards of the Building Contractors Association (BCA) and the Northern Indiana Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI). He is a past president of the Construction Financial Management Association and the Midland, Texas, Jaycees. A past board member of the Midland Chamber of Commerce, he has also held a variety of offices with the Petroleum Accountants' Society of the Permian Basin.
The Personal Side
Mark and his wife, Patricia, have three sons. In addition to his family, he enjoys boating, scuba diving and playing golf.
