As Vice President of Supply Chain Mark Smith is responsible for leading GTSI’s purchasing and distribution teams. Mr. Smith reports to Bob Mitchell GTSI’s Group Vice President and Chief Information Officer Officer.
Mr. Smith has more than 25 years experience in operations management in both the commercial and federal marketplace. He returns to GTSI after spending one year as Director of Operations and Logistics Americas for Tandberg Inc. Prior to Tandberg Mr. Smith served in an number of operations management positions with GTSI most recently as Vice President Customer Operations. He has also had management responsibility for purchasing and materials management functions at Norfolk Southern Corporation and Falcon Microsystems.
Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from George Mason University and is recognized by the National Association of Purchasing Management as a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.). He has also participated in advanced executive leadership studies at the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. |
