Mark Rudolph has served as the president and chief executive officer of Yount, Hyde & Barbour since being named to the position in 2005. He provides energy and leadership to carry out the firm s strategic vision, guidance to staff, principals and the management team, and direction for the firm s five offices and 150+ employees. He also has governance and management responsibilities as a member of the firm s Board of Directors. After joining Yount, Hyde & Barbour in 1984, Mark spent the first ten years of his career performing accounting and auditing services for financial institutions. He became a principal at Yount, Hyde & Barbour in 1994. For the next ten years, he focused on providing tax and consulting services to a wide range of clients in an array of industries. He launched and headed the firm s Healthcare Services Team, which provides financial and practice consulting services to physicians, dentists, chiropractors and veterinarians. He is also experienced in assisting private companies and closely-held businesses and their owners with business consulting, strategic financing, tax planning, succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Mark earned his Bachelor s of Science Degree in Accounting from Shepherd College in 1984. He is actively involved in the business and civic community, serving as a member of the Handley Board of Trustees, as Past President of Winchester Host Lions Club, and as an elder at First Presbyterian Church. He also has been involved for more than 20 twenty years with numerous youth basketball and baseball organizations in coaching and leadership roles. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). He resides in Winchester, VA with his wife Mary and three children, Melanie, Stephanie and Jake. |
