Mark Rose is senior vice president for U.S. Sales and Operations at IHS. Based in the company's Houston office, Mark provides strategic and operational direction for the U.S.-based business, and leads the U.S. and Latin American sales and support teams.
An accomplished executive with more than 24 years of oil and gas industry experience, Rose was instrumental in unifying the sales and support organizations of Petroleum Information, Petroconsultants and IEDS when the companies merged in 1998.
He has also served the company as a P&L leader and as a senior executive of several of its subsidiaries. Prior to his current position, Rose directed the IHS Global Sales and Support organizations and led various geophysical, sales and information services divisions within the Petroleum Information/Dwights and GeoQuest International organizations.
A 1980 graduate of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, Rose received a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a major in finance. |
