Dr. Pruzanski has over 15 years of experience in life sciences startup management and venture capital, strategy consulting and healthcare policy. He was previously a Venture Partner at Apple Tree Partners (ATP), an early stage life sciences venture capital firm he co-founded in 1999, where he worked with several portfolio companies to assist with financing, strategic positioning and operations, including a term as CEO of MedicinePlanet. Prior to that he was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Oak Investment Partners with a focus on startup deal origination in the microfluidics area. Dr. Pruzanski is a founder and Director of Tigris Pharmaceuticals, a development stage biopharmaceutical company focused on advancing novel therapeutics in women's health and oncology. He is also a Director of the think tank Foundation for the Defense of Democracies in Washington, DC. Dr. Pruzanski is a Canadian physician who received his M.D. from McMaster University in Ontario, an M.A. degree in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna, Italy and Washington, DC, and a bachelor's degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. |
