Mark Pover, CFO - 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in technology, service, entertainment and consumer based companies. During his career, Mark has raised over $80 million in private equity, venture and debt financing. Additionally, Mark has participated in multiple merger and acquisition transactions resulting in an average 40X return on investment for those companies he has been involved with. Previously, Mark served as CFO/COO for Emergent Technologies, Inc. where he was responsible for the Company’s management and financial restructure and physical relocation and the acquisition and integration of Numerical Design Limited. Prior to Emergent, Mark served as CFO for Turbine, Inc., which experienced a 1700% growth in enterprise value during his tenure. Mark was instrumental in growing Turbine from a developer of entertainment technology to a publisher of online entertainment products, having been instrumental in the acquisition of license rights from Microsoft for the Asheron’s Call franchise, Atari for the Dungeon’s and Dragon’s franchise and Vivendi for the Lord of the Rings Franchise. Mark co-founded and served as both COO/CFO for EON Reality, Inc. a developer of Virtual Reality Technology, serving the international manufacturing, education and military markets. Prior to EON Reality, Mark served as CFO of Prosolvia AB, an international developer of Virtual Reality and Robotic control technology and COO/CFO for Deluxe Video Services, Inc. and Vidco International, Inc., providers of supply chain management, distribution and fulfillment services for the entertainment industry. Mark is a graduate from the University of Michigan with dual degrees in Professional Accounting and Finance, in addition to receiving a Masters in Management from Walsh. Mark is also a Certified Public Accountant, member of both the AICPA and MACPA and a former partner of Porvin, Tobes & Burnstein, a top Michigan public accounting firm. |
